Picked up a Masdevallia Veitchiana recently because it was SO striking, but after doing some research, I am a little frightened about keeping it healthy.

For those of you who are familiar with this orchid, are they difficult to keep indoors? I live in the Pacific NW and wonder if I could summer it outdoors. Currently daytime highs are in the 60s-70s with lows in the 40s. In the winter my house is around 70F during the day and 60F at night. Do these temps sound ok?
I read that they do not like direct sunlight, so if kept outside I would shade it.
My nest question is about humidity. What is ideal for this species? Indoors I can keep a room around 60%. Is this too low? Thanks in advance for your help!
