The Glycerin 12 is a significant upgrade from the Glycerin 11 and is the plush, cushioned fit for neautral runners (Runners that pronate should try the new Transcend).
So, how does the Brooks Glycerin 12 differ from the Glycerin 11?
Cushioning technology update – new Super DNA cushioning (Initially launched for the Brooks Transcend).
Redesigned outsole shape to disperse pressure more evenly through the heel to toe transition (Also launched for the Brooks Transcend).

I normally wear Glycerin 11 for races, so was keen to test out the Glycerin 12 for the Corporate Tri. Even though it was a (very) wet course, the two best features of the Glycerin 12 are definitely:
– The smoother transition while running (obvious even when the shoes were heavier due to rain).
– The immediate comfort in the cushioning.
